Prime Trials is a Phase I/IIa Contract Research Organization in Vancouver. Located at Vancouver General Hospital, Prime Trials provides an intensive care environment for the completion of clinical studies in both healthy and patient volunteers. The partnership of the Centre, the Canadian HIV Trials Network and Prime Trials makes Vancouver ideally situated to deliver comprehensive HIV/AIDS Phase 1 to 4 clinical trial services. Pharmaceutical companies testing investigational antiretroviral agents for the treatment of HIV infection will benefit from the combined expertise and experience found at our facilities.

Facilities and services

24 beds and outpatient space situated within Vancouver Hospital.
Access to a network of specialists, management and staff with significant clinical and GCP experience.
Ability to perform PK/PD, bioavailability, bioequivalence, interaction analyses, studies of the hepatically and renally impaired, radiolabeled and ethnic bridging studies.
Priority access to diagnostic services such as CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and PET.
