The University of British Columbia’s School of Nursing and the College of Health Disciplines have partnered with the Centre to provide programs to better educate health care professionals about HIV/AIDS prevention and care. These courses include “Nursing 410 M/N: HIV/AIDS Prevention and Care: Concepts and Issues for Nurses” and “Interprofessional Elective IHHS 402: HIV/AIDS Prevention and Care.” The core faculty are from UBC’s departments of medicine, pharmaceutical sciences, nursing, social work and family studies, food nutrition and health, as well as the Centre, AIDS Vancouver, and the Children’s and Women’s Health Centre of B.C.
